After much work since early this year, the illumin8 center officially opened. We welcomed about 50 girls to the center, many of whom we have great relationships with and hope to welcome back for finance, baking and discipleship classes. We continue to thank all those who have given to help the illumin8 ministry become a reality.
Also, a big thank to Ashley who worked really hard to get all the recipes and the samples ready. The girls are excited about her baking class. I'm sure she'll have no problem filling the first class to capacity.
Starting this week we start the process for the 12 week baking class, the 4 week financial literacy class and our primary focus: to begin our mentorship of 3-5 people of peace for discipleship.
