There are literally dozens of malls in Bangkok. After two days in bed with what felt like the flu, Ryan got me medicine at the pharmacy and I‘m feeling more myself. So we decided to walk around the mall to check it out. We are really enjoying our time here in Thailand! We feel our prayers for direction have been answered. God is at work here in many ways amd we look foward to joining in. See you all soon!

This would be a more normal setting for most Thai families. 4 chairs closely squeezed in around a makeshift table eating for 70 baht each ($2.30). That is really a high "tourist" price as we were in Chatuchak market.
What you can't see are the personal guards behind locked doors. The public cannot walk in.
Dozens of malls is an understatement. The mall we are pictured in (Siam Paragon) is 7 floors plus a basement and ground floor, so 9 total floors. The basement has the largest aquarium in Asia. The top floor has 2 different theater complexes. All the floors in between probably have over 200 places to eat. That's not to mention the "shopping" aspect. Feeling like you want to spend a dollar (or Baht)? Well you're in luck! On the 3rd floor there is are individual dealerships for Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Land Rover, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Mercedes all manned by personal guards.
