So what exactly is a DMM (Disciple Making Movement)?

A disciple making movement is not trying to make converts, to create a church or to spread OUR way of church. It does not count church plants or other metrics as successes. The measure of our work is in mentoring disciples who lead and mentor others to Christ in obedience to God's word. This is done without the context of OUR culture or OUR traditions. Replacing this is individual discovery through Biblical study, pray, mentorship and Discovery Bible Study groups.

Throughout this is the understanding we do not lead the group. We facilitate on their turf in their cultural common place with the answer to any question being "what does the Bible say"?

3) Engage an entire family or group not just an individual. (Disciple in groups not one-on-one)

4) Share only when and where people are ready to hear

5) Focus on the story of God not just the life, death and resurrection

6) It's about discovering and obeying not teaching and knowledge

7) Disciple to the cross and from the cross

8) Coach lost people to obey and discover Biblical truths

9) Move the Gospel to groups not groups to the Gospel

10) Start with the end…
